Acetylcysteine Azevedos Oral Solution 40mg/ml 200ml

Expectorant medication indicated for relieving coughs when there is excess production and accumulation of secretions. It thins secretions and promotes their release.

Recommended use : Adults and children over 12 years: 600 mg (15 ml) once a day, preferably in the evening, or 200 mg (5 ml) 3 times a day. Maximum recommended dose: 600 mg/day.

Children 2 to 6 years of age: 300 mg (7.5 ml) once daily, preferably in the evening, or 100 mg (2.5 ml) 3 times daily. Maximum recommended daily dose: 300 mg/day.

Children 6 to 12 years of age: 300 mg to 400 mg (7.5 to 10 ml) once daily, preferably in the evening, or 100 mg (2.5 ml) 3 to 4 times daily. Maximum recommended daily dose: 300 to 400 mg/day.

Ingredients:  40mg Acetylcysteine, methyl parahydroxybenzoate (E218), propyl parahydroxybenzoate (E216), disodium edetate, carmellose sodium (E466), sodium saccharin (E954), sorbitol solution (E420) at 70%, strawberry essence, sodium hydroxide and purified water.
