Faktu Rectal Ointment 50g

Faktu contains the active substances policresulen and cinchocaine and comes in the pharmaceutical form of rectal ointment.

Faktu is indicated for the treatment of: uncomplicated hemorrhoids, anal fissures or tears after prior medical diagnosis, and anal pruritus and eczema.

Faktu quickly eliminates bleeding, pain, itching and oozing, prevents inflammation and promotes the regeneration of affected tissue.

If you do not feel better or feel worse after 7 days, you need to see a doctor.

Recommended use: 

Use this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet, or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you have any questions.

Apply the ointment to the lesions 2-3 times a day.

If symptoms persist after seven days of taking the medication, consult your doctor.

Method and route of administration:

Administer rectally.

For internal application:

Remove the protective cap from the applicator, attach it to the tube, and insert it into the rectum. By gently pressing the tube, the ointment will come out through the side holes of the applicator and spread evenly over the affected area. By rotating the applicator, the ointment will be distributed all around.

In case of internal application of Faktu, prior evacuation and careful hygiene of the affected area is advisable.

Ingredients:

- The active ingredients are: policresulen and cinchocaine hydrochloride. Each gram of ointment contains 10 mg of cinchocaine hydrochloride and 50 mg of policresulen.

- The other ingredients are: sodium hydroxide, cetomacrogol, butylhydroxytoluene (E321), anhydrous colloidal silica, polyethylene glycol 300, polyethylene glycol 1500, macrogol 400, disodium edetate and purified water.
