Medication indicated for the treatment of genital fungal infections, particularly vaginal candidiasis.

Description:
Clotrimazole (active substance) acts primarily by damaging the permeability barrier in the fungal cell membrane. Clotrimazole inhibits the biosynthesis of ergosterol, an essential constituent of fungal cell membranes. If ergosterol synthesis is completely or partially inhibited, the cell is no longer able to build an intact and functional cell membrane.

Ingredients:
Active Substance: Clotrimazole 10 mg/g

Excipients and other constituents: Benzyl alcohol, Cetyl palmitate, Cetostearyl alcohol, Purified water, Polysorbate 60, Sorbitan monostearate, Octyldodecanol.

Conservation:
Store at room temperature, away from light and moisture.

Precautions:
Do not use if allergic to any of the ingredients. Keep out of the reach and sight of children. May reduce the effectiveness and safety of latex-based products, such as condoms and diaphragms. The effect is temporary and may last up to 5 days after stopping treatment. Alternative precautions should be used in these situations. Avoid contact with eyes, open wounds, ears, or mucous membranes.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding:
Not recommended during the first trimester without prior medical advice. When necessary for use during pregnancy, the applicator is not recommended. Breastfeeding should be discontinued during treatment. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, think you may be pregnant, or plan to become pregnant, consult your doctor before using this medication.

When to perform:
Fungal infection treatment.

How to use:
1. Pull the applicator plunger all the way out until it locks.
2. Open the tube and adjust the applicator, filling it carefully.
3. Remove the applicator from the tube. Insert the applicator as far into the vagina as possible and push the plunger until it is completely empty.
4. Remove the applicator and discard.
5. Treatment should be done before bedtime, as recommended by your doctor.
