IMODIUM® Plus tablets not only provide relief from diarrhea, but also soothe the symptoms of painful cramps, uncomfortable bloating, and gas. IMODIUM® Plus works with your body to restore natural digestive balance. Diarrhea can be reduced after the first dose*.

Designed to relieve acute, short-term episodes of diarrhea, the tablets contain an additional substance called simethicone, which helps reduce excess gas in the intestine and relieve cramping.

Treatment with IMODIUM® Plus is only symptomatic. If any etiology is determined, appropriate treatment should be administered. If clinical improvement is not seen within 48 hours, administration should be discontinued. Patients should be advised to consult their physician.

Recommended use:

Adults over 18 years of age:

Take two tablets initially, followed by one tablet after each diarrheal bowel movement.

No more than 4 tablets should be taken per day and treatment should be limited to a maximum of 2 days.

Teenagers between 12 and 18 years of age:

Take one tablet initially, followed by one tablet after each diarrheal bowel movement. Do not take more than four tablets per day, and treatment should be limited to a maximum of two days.

Ingredients:

The active substances are: loperamide hydrochloride (2 mg per tablet) and

simethicone (measured as 125 mg dimethicone per tablet).

The other components are: calcium hydrogen phosphate, microcrystalline cellulose,

acesulfame potassium, artificial vanilla flavor (includes propylene glycol,

maltodextrin, ethanol and benzyl alcohol), sodium carboxymethyl starch (type A) and acid

stearic.
