Recommended use: Smokers should stop smoking completely during treatment . Each gum should be chewed slowly for 30 minutes to release all the nicotine it contains.

The number of gums you use per day will depend on your level of nicotine dependence. If you are a highly dependent smoker (smoking more than 25 cigarettes per day) or if you have failed to quit smoking with 2 mg gum, you should use 4 mg gum. Other smokers should start treatment with 2 mg Nicorette gum.
