Strepfen Honey and Lemon Spray 16.2mg/ml 15ml

The active ingredient is flurbiprofen. Flurbiprofen belongs to a group of drugs called Nonsteroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drugs (NSAIDs), which work by altering the way the body responds to pain, swelling, and fever.

Strepfen Spray Honey and Lemon is used for the short-term relief of sore throat symptoms such as throat inflammation, pain, difficulty swallowing, and swelling, in adults over 18 years of age.

Recommended use:

Use this medicine exactly as described in the leaflet, or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you have any questions.

Recommended dose:

Adults 18 years and older:

One dose of 3 sprays into the back of the throat every 3-6 hours as needed, up to a maximum of 5 doses in a 24-hour period.

One dose (3 sprays) contains 8.75 mg of flurbiprofen.

Do not use this medicine in children or adolescents under 18 years of age.

For mouth spray only:

- Spray only on the back of the throat.

- Do not inhale while spraying.

- Do not use more than 5 doses (15 sprays) in 24 hours.

Strepfen Spray Honey and Lemon is used for short-term treatment only.

You should use the lowest number of doses for the shortest duration necessary to relieve your symptoms. If oral irritation occurs, flurbiprofen treatment should be discontinued.

Do not use this medicine for more than 3 days unless your doctor recommends it.

If you do not feel better, if your symptoms worsen, or if new symptoms appear, consult your doctor or pharmacist.

Activate the dispensing pump:

Before first use (or after a long period of non-use) you must first activate the dispensing pump.

Point the cannula away from you and press at least four times until a fine, consistent mist is produced. The pump is ready to use. If you haven't used the medication for a long time, point the cannula away from you and spray at least once, ensuring a fine, consistent mist is produced. Always ensure a fine, consistent mist is produced before applying the medication.

Using the spray solution: Point the cannula toward the back of the throat.

Using a smooth, quick motion, press the pump 3 times, taking care to fully depress the pump with each spray, as well as removing your finger from the top of the pump between each application.

Do not inhale while spraying.

Ingredients:
