Strepsils lozenges contain dichlorobenzyl alcohol and amylmetacresol, which, due to their disinfectant action, relieve throat and mouth problems, having a calming and soothing effect on irritated throats.

Recommended use:
The recommended dose is:
Adults and children over 6 years of age: Dissolve 1 (one) lozenge slowly in the mouth every 2 to 3 hours as needed. Do not take more than 12 lozenges in a 24-hour period.
Elderly: no dose reduction is necessary in elderly patients.
Children under 6 years of age: Not recommended for use in children under 6 years of age.
It is recommended to take this medicine for a maximum period of 3 days.

Ingredients:
- The active ingredients are: dichlorobenzyl alcohol and amylmetacresol. Each tablet contains 1.2 mg of dichlorobenzyl alcohol and 0.6 mg of amylmetacresol.
- The other ingredients are: strawberry flavor, sodium saccharin (E954), tartaric acid, liquid maltitol, isomaltitol (E953) and anthocyanins (E163).
