VIBROCIL ACTILONG CHILDREN 0.5mg/ml

Medication indicated for the relief of nasal congestion due to colds, hay fever or other allergic rhinitis and sinusitis.

Description:
Vibrocil Actilong is a nasal decongestant for children aged 1 and older. With moisturizing ingredients, it's ideal for dry and irritated noses, providing fast relief lasting up to 12 hours. Xylometazoline (the active ingredient) is an imidazole derivative and has a sympathomimetic effect. Xylometazoline vaporization on the nasal mucous membrane causes rapid, long-lasting vascular constriction.
The result is a reduction in nasal blockage. This effect may be explained by the direct stimulation of postsynaptic alpha receptors. It is unknown whether xylometazoline has any effect on beta-adrenergic receptors.

Ingredients:
Active substance: Xylometazoline (0.5 mg/mL) .

Excipients and other constituents: Disodium edetate, Benzalkonium chloride, Disodium phosphate dodecahydrate, Monosodium phosphate dihydrate, Sodium chloride, Purified water, Hypromellose 2208 (4000 cps), Sorbitol solution 70%.

Conservation:
Store at room temperature, away from light and moisture.

Precautions:
Vibrocil Actilong Infantil is only recommended for children between 1 and 11 years of age under adult supervision.
Should not be used for more than 10 consecutive days. Caution is recommended in patients with hypertension, cardiovascular disease, hyperthyroidism, narrow-angle glaucoma, or diabetes. Contains benzalkonium chloride.
Do not use Vibrocil Actilong if you are allergic to xylometazoline or any other component of Vibrocil Actilong and have recently had nasal surgery.
Before using this medicine, check with your doctor.

How to use:
Children 1 to 5 years of age (with adult supervision): 1 to 2 drops in each nostril, 1 to 2 times a day (every 8 to 10 hours) is usually sufficient. Do not exceed a maximum of 3 daily applications in each nostril. Children 6 to 11 years of age (with adult supervision): 2 to 4 drops in each nostril, 2 to 3 times a day. Do not exceed a maximum of 3 daily applications in each nostril.

Detailed instructions:

1. Blow your nose.
2. Tilt your head back while standing or sitting. When lying down, tilt your head to the side.
3. Place the drops in each nostril and hold your head back for a moment to allow the drops to spread throughout your nose.
4. Replace the lid immediately after use.
