Zovirax cream, with a pump, is a medication for the treatment of recurrent cold sores caused by the herpes simplex virus. Clinical studies with Zovirax cream have demonstrated statistically significant efficacy in healing lesions and alleviating initial signs and symptoms of cold sores on the lips and face (tingling, itching, or redness). When cold sores have already developed into ulcerative lesions, Zovirax will facilitate and shorten the healing process.

Short description (250 characters): Zovirax cream is indicated for the treatment of recurrent cold sores caused by the herpes simplex virus. It accelerates the healing of lesions and relieves initial symptoms such as tingling and redness, in addition to facilitating the healing of ulcerative lesions.

Recommended use: 5 times a day for 4 days. It is recommended to apply Zovirax cream as early as possible, for example, during the tingling stage. However, cold sores can be treated as early as the vesicle stage. Adults and children 12 years and older: Apply the cream with your finger to completely cover the affected area, including the outer edge of the vesicles. Apply to the affected area 5 times a day, every 4 hours, without applying overnight. If you miss an application of the cream, apply it as soon as you remember and then continue as before. Continue treatment for 4 days (4 x 5). If your lesion has not healed after this time, you can continue treatment for another 6 days. If complete healing does not occur after 10 days, or if the lesion becomes very severe, consult your doctor.
